The organization is dedicated to working in the most backward areas of Karnataka, focusing on rural development and uplifting marginalized communities. Its efforts address social, educational, health, and economic inequalities; discrimination and exploitation; violations of child rights such as child labor, dropouts, and child marriages; and challenges in livelihood opportunities. The organization also works to improve access to schools, hostels, and transportation, support differently-abled individuals, and reduce high rates of infant and maternal mortality.

Pond cleaning activity
In January 2025, People NGO and Goonj jointly conducted an agriculture pond cleaning event in Davangere Taluk, Giriyapura.
Delivery of Ration Kits after the plantation drive
With the support of Goonj and the Forest Department, we organized a plantation drive at the Government PU College ground in Thyavanige, Channagiri Taluk, Davangere District. During the event100, 100 plants were planted, contributing to the cleaning and greening of the area. 100 ration kits were given to the volunteer workers .

School cleaning
School cleaning activity organized by People Organization Davanagere and Goonj Bangalore in Putakanahal Village, Davanagere District. The event aimed to enhance sanitation and hygiene in the village school, benefiting the local community.

Empowering Communities: Safe Village Program in Gurusiddapura Village
Safe Village Program was Conducted jointly by PEOPLE Organization Davanagere and Red Alert my Choice Foundation Hyderabad in Gurusiddapura Village. Code :- 606374.Taluk:- Jagaluru.District:-Davanagere.12/02/2024,We are also aware of programs like this, and we don't ask any kind of people to drop. There is no bus system to reach these villages. Project Covid Relief 100.Families
Thank you for your generous donation towards our Project Covid Relief 100, which envisages supporting a 100 poor Covid impacted families in and around Davangere, Karnataka, with Dry Rations and supplementary nutrition for children over a 6 month period. We will also be providing Covid prevention and early Covid Care assistance to these families and their children over this period. You will be pleased to know that we have already completed the first distribution to about 75 families, with the funds already received. However, to sustain the entire program over 6 months we would still need additional funds.

Getting Rural India 'Digital Ready'
The 'digital divide' is one of the much talked about subject and it is hitting the rural poor badly. The pandemic is forcing everyone to be digital ready, without giving them any choice or time to adopt We identified 8 needy and deserving students in Davangere district and each one were given a tablet for their academic use. A small contribution from People in support of the 'digital village' program of the Central Government. Our sincere thanks from the bottom of the heart to the sponsors of the tab - Dhwani Foundation.
Distribution of Grocery kits at Davanagere
During Covid19 crisis, we undertook distribution of food relief aid (consisting of 10kg of Rice, 2Kg Dhal, 2kg Atta, 1kg Oil, 1KG Sugar, Spices, Soaps, Dettol, Toothpaste etc) to around 400 migrant and artisan families at Davanagere.
Feed Chikkajogihalli Program
In the midst of this on-going COVID - 19 pandemic with the government lockdown order and inadequate provisions for food distribution, several families are sleeping hungry taking into the note of these issues, PEOPLE team distributed vegetables and food grains for Chikkajogihalli community.
POSHANA ABHIYAAN FOR KENCHIKERE
PEOPLE with Health Department collaboration POSHAN Abhiyaan was conducted in kenchikere Samudaya Bhavan to highlight the importance of preschool education to children and nutrition value for postnatal women.

A meeting was organized for mothers in Gollarhatti Anganwadi. In this meeting all the mothers were given awareness regarding their duties and rights.They were even told the importance of their presence in the society and were have to be given the due respect that should be given to them.
Kishori Shaba
In front of Thoduru High School of Harapanahalli.A meeting was conducted for adolescent girls. Importance of personal hygiene and health was highlighted in the meeting. Ms. Indiramma sang songs on the education for life and T.Basamma and team sang a song on Nadina chinthakare.
Back to School
Back to school program was conducted to bring in awareness among the students who were school dropourts. In this program they were given importance of education and their livelihood related to the education they would be under taking.
Women and Child Trafficking Awareness Program
People team visited honnehalli community of Harapanhalli Taluk, Later informal children group was formed among the students with a formal introduction. To make a group more active quiz, games were played. Students who were good at singing sung songs. After spending quality time with students PEOPLE team came to know about school dropouts in the same community and visited their home.
Awareness Program
We organized Awareness Program, street play on Child Labor and Preventing Child Marriage at Durugamman Temple, Kanchikeri village of Harapanahalli taluk. In this program all the leaders of the village and MSW. PEOPLE Organization's Students and staff members participated in this program.

School enrollment movement conducted at 05-07-2019 at Hallikeri, Durgavati, Kanakanabasapura village's Govt. Primary school with the slogan: "Shaleya kade nanna nade".

Parents meet
The meet was held at Harappanhalli village the main motto of the meet is to aware of the village people about the importance of education and disadvantages of child marriage and child labour. In this program total, 38 members participated. In the middle, we got that bus transportation facility is not good only 2 times buses are coming to this village. To get the higher education they have to travel 3kms away from that village. So, we decided to write a letter to depo. we also encouraged send their children to the hostel so they can learn how to wash cloth, how to keep room clean etc. by themselves.
Street play
We organized a street play in Satur village temple. The street play is about child marriage and Child labor. Also, we organized awareness on these two topics. The headmaster of Govt. primary school participated in this program and talked about the disadvantages of child marriage and child labor

PEOPLE organization conducted mothers meeting in Satur village on 1st April 2019. Reflection Meeting
Operation red alert by My Choices Foundation Hyderabad and Karnataka. This inter state partnership review & reflection meeting was held at Vijayapura and was seen a great success.This was a great program that was conducted towards the welfare of the society.
Meeting of Children's Organization
We organized a Children's meet at Nichenahalli village. 22 children have participated in this meeting. We told them to not to quit the school. We got the information that 3 children are currently pursuing 10th. standard so we encourage them they should pass the exam so that they can have a bright future. and we also distributed some important stationary materials like notebooks, pencil, pen, etc.
Awareness Program
We have organized an awareness program on child labor and child marriage through street play at Nichhavenahalli village.
Makkala Grama Sabha
