Shri B.M. Hanumanthappa is a well know human rights activist in Davanagere. Certain social evils were stricken his childhood such as caste system, child marriage, poverty, illiteracy, and Dalit exploitation which did not destroy, B.M.H Winning instincts this in spite of growing up in a condition of extreme scarcity. From his college days B.R Ambedkar's philosophy and his contribution to society inspired him to begun his journey for the social sector, he was enthusiastic about doing good to people and combat for their rights. From the past 8 years working for human rights, being a vice president of the Human Rights Committee, Davanagere. His main motto is to spread Human Rights awareness among the common people, He believes that unless people are aware of their human rights they cannot protect their rights or seek redressal when it is violated.
